Christmas is in the air, and I’ve designed nine free holiday printables to get the season started!
I just love printables! One of my favorite things any time of year is to hop on Pinterest and find printables for the occasion. I go through a lot of ink (don’t tell my husband!). There just seems to be a printable for just about every event or celebration, and sometimes, “just because”. So I decided to design some of my own.
One of my favorite ways to display printables is by decoupaging them to wooden plaques or old bread boards.
You can find plaques on Amazon. You can also find them at just about any craft store, or even at Walmart. I paint the plaque first. I usually use Burnt Umber, or any other dark brown paint. I then cover the plaque with Mod Podge and carefully place the printable, centered, on the plaque. Smooth out any bubbles, and then cover the entire plaque, again, with Mod Podge. This works really good in easels. You can find easels at most craft stores in the frame department, or I found this one on Amazon. Such an easy way to display wall art!
Of course, printables always look good in frames!
I don’t know about you, but I always have extra frames lying around. You can find them at Walmart, or if you really want to save some money, thrift shops always have an abundant supply!
